The project treats the reconstruction and renovation of an existing residential building – a monument of culture, in an office building. The facade of the existing monument of culture is restored in great detail. The new building is the single contemporary one on the Alexander Nevski square. It blends elegantly into the historic frame. The room-size facade glazing panels open the interiors to the powerful presence of the cathedral.
