The „pine cones" is the humorous title of the project solving the puzzle how to create an organic whole of two separately financed projects. The two ellipsoidal bodies with 32 hotel rooms' and12 apartments are connected at the ground floor which is hidden in the slope. The four-storey construction of the foyer is made of wood and the roof is perforated by the „spikes" of the light openings. The low unit has a greened roof, it consists of a breakfast hall, a restaurant (50 places) and a kitchen.
