Bread-making plant Simid

The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for bread production. The three main volumes express different functions, building elements such as entrances, canopies, windows and stairs play a major role in the architectural composition. The structure of stressed reinforced concrete slabs is used for the first time in this country. It comprises a basement, 2 floors and partial intermediate levels.
All functional parts of the building- production, stores, expedition, service and administration, are united in a parallelipiped-shaped spatial body. Façade walls (with the exception of the office part) are solid, without windows, designed with "sandwich" panels in horizontal screen, gray colored. The main structure of the building is reinforced concrete. In front of the suspended façade wall there are horizontal sun shading lamella and a metal structure, supporting a massive visor.
